Change a user's email address

As your company grows and evolves, your team's details might change too. Whether an employee has a new last name or your entire company is rebranding, keeping user emails up to date in Cledara is simple.

When should you update a user's email?

  • Name changes: An employee’s name has changed, and their email has been updated to match.
  • Format changes: Your team’s internal email format has changed (e.g., from j.smith@company.com to john.smith@company.com).
  • Domain migrations: Your entire team is moving to a brand-new company domain.

    If your entire company domain is changing, please contact us before the switch takes place. We will work closely with you to coordinate the exact time of the change.

    This coordination is crucial for ensuring smooth transitions and uninterrupted logins, especially if your team relies on Google Sign-In or Okta SSO.

Contact Cledara Support to update an email instead of inviting a new email.

By letting our team update the existing user account, the user seamlessly retains their current login password, assigned apps, virtual cards, payment history, and pending tasks under their new email address. You can request the change at support@cledara.com
