What company information do I need to open a Cledara account?

Thinking of signing up? We are very excited to have you on board!

There are a few documentation we need to get your account all set up and ready to go, and we know things can get confusing sometimes, so here we have compiled a checklist for you to make signing up with Cledara as easy as possible!

Company details

We need the following basic company information for our review:

  • Legal business name
  • Date of incorporation
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Registered company address
Company bank account

During your sign-up process, please be prepared to connect a company bank account so that we can conduct the credit assessment.

Via a secure connection provided by Plaid, you will be asked to log in to your bank and select a bank account that best reflects your company's financial position. Then, to complete the process, submit the following:

  • Routing number
  • Account number

Executives and Shareholders

To complete our review, we ask that you provide information for:

  • all Shareholders who hold more than 25% of the ownership of the company, and
  • at least one Executive

The Executive and the Shareholder submitted can be the same person.

If there are no Shareholders who own more than 25% of the company, then only information on the Executives is required.

Here is the information we ask for from your Executives and Shareholders:

  • Full name
  • Contact number and email address
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Personal address

If they are not US citizens and/or do not have an SSN, please provide a photocopy of their passport photo page instead.

If the executive and shareholders disclosed do not reside in the US, once your application is submitted, the Cledara team will reach out to you to request some additional information.
